You need … @lsnoyz
You need some water storage with some head pressure. Mine runs through garden hose from a tank about 30ft above and 80ft away from the shower spot. This gives nice pressure, but if most of the run was in 1 or 2 inch hose until a foot or so before the heater conection, I expect the pressure would be much better. The advice re carbon monoxide stands for everything- good ventilation is a must whenever you burn anything in doors- except for ethanol perhaps.
I got this heater … I got this heater at my tree house and works great ! Only problem…it will not start if the water pressure is low…
Every demonstration … Every demonstration/video I've seen uses garden hose hookup. Always mentions of uses for camping. I'd like to see demonstration or at least get explanation as to how this would working when camping and no garden hose to hook up.
That's foolish!! … That's foolish!! All gas appliances need to be used cautiously, not just this one.
If you are using … If you are using one of these devices indoors, please be so careful with the ventilation of them,in Turkey a lot of people died in bathrooms due to carbonmonoxide poisoning caused of these natural gas or lpg powered water heaters…
I have been using … I have been using one of these in a remote location in Australia for three years.
They are great and incredibly efficient. One note to users is to check the fitting where the gas goes into the unit. If it is brass, good, if not- ie aluminium, then be very careful attaching the gas hose, as the aluminium is very brittle.
Don't force tighten the gas fitting. Use two wrenches.
I leave my gas hose on all the time, and simply attach the end to the gas bottle
i think this is the … i think this is the best stuff so far
hi nice system i … hi nice system i have a question 4 u do you think i can hook it up to a pressure washer?
You can buy a … You can buy a bladder tank (plastic) and hang it from a tree to get gravity feed. This heater will activate with .5 PSI and .66 GPM flow.
very cool but what … very cool but what happens if you have no water hook up at a camp site? then you have to spend more money for a water pump and a small reserve tank.
i have a similar … i have a similar one here in the cabin… 5 yrs, no problems….
Love it!!! Love it!!!
