It's rather naive to think a "kind, rich family" would take you in. The world is full of smart 7 year olds who like English. If your vacation is just two weeks away, it's too late to start looking. Your best bet is to see if you have friends in your country who have relatives who would do this for you. If you did get such an offer, I'd be careful about staying with strangers. Also, you should give a very nice gift to this family.
